We live in a world in which innovation to innovation amazes us, may it be on the aspect of life, technology and the likes. We find something new, we are amazed, we see something strange and unusual, we are amazed, people were made like this able to appreciate, and able to dislike.
But have we ever wondered how such “amazing” things get done? Where and from whom did all these amazement come? Who created it? From where did it start? How did it happen?
Well, we all know it is from Allaah. We can never deny this fact, We all were created by Him and We all are being provided by Him.
It is just but strange, how people nowadays, just get to be amazed by the person’s talent, the person’s way of speech, the person’s look, the person’s knowledge about incredible things, but have you thought to yourself from where did they all get these?
Sometimes, we praise a person so much that it seems like we already make them like superior human beings, but reality is, we are all same, we all are human beings, we are all equal in the eyes of Allaah except through our piety and good deeds.
How could you praise someone so much without carrying any guilt inside of us yet we cannot do that to the One who made that person capable of doing what we are amazed of him/her? When people get to be addicted on something, they praise them day and night, they speak of them day and night, they copy what they do, they make them their role models to the extent that they offer their lives for it (Authubillaah).
But, that’s reality, that is what is happening to the youth now, no matter how we deny it, it is happening and it is very alarming.
It’s a shame that you revere someone so much yet they don’t even know your name, or do they ever recognize you, but listen, think about this, among the tons of millions of His Creations, He knows what you do, He knows your name, He knows every single thought that comes to your mind before it comes to your mind, He hears every single word, spoken and unspoken by you, He sees every single action you do, publicly or privately.
You praise Him, He answers you, You call for Him, He responds to you, You call your idol here in the dunya, they don’t even have the time to hear about you, but Allaah is there, always with you? Does that not shame you? That everyday you forget to give thanks to Him, yet He still sends upon you His Mercy? That everyday He tells the angels, to bring back your soul so you could live another day more, that you could repent and glorify Him?
O Muslim, when will you realize that all these praises you give to other people to these people you see on television are not worth it? Why can’t you put in your heart the love for Allaah that everytime you see something that amazes you, you say Subhan’Allaah or Ma sha Allaah or Allahu’akbar? Simple words that mean a lot, why can’t you? Are they such heavy words that your lips cannot utter them?
Remember what Allaah says in the Qur’aan;
 He is Allaah, other than whom there is no deity, Knower of the unseen and the witnessed. He is the Entirely Merciful, the Especially Merciful.
Note: Allaah states that He Alone is worthy of worship, there is no Lord or God for the existence, except Him. All that is being worshipped instead of Allah are false deities. Allah is the All-Knower in the unseen and the seen, He knows all that pertains to the creations that we see, and those we cannot see. Nothing in heaven or on earth ever escapes His knowledge, no matter how great or insignificant, big or small, including ants in darkness.
So you O who believe, Revere Allaah with your utmost sincerity, remember what the Qur’aan says on exalting Allaah;
 So be patient, (O Muhammad), over what they say and exalt (Allaah) with praise of your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting.
 So exalt (Allaah) with praise of your Lord and be of those who prostrate (to Him).
 So be patient of what they say and exalt (Allaah) with praise to your Lord before the rising of the sun and before its setting; and during periods of the night (exalt Him) and at the ends of the day, that you may be satisfied.
 And rely upon the Ever-Living who does not die, and exalt (Allaah) with His praise. And sufficient is He to be, with the sins of His servants, Acquainted.
 So be patient, (O Muhammad). Indeed, the promise of Allaah is truth. And ask forgiveness for your sin and exalt (Allaah) with praise of your Lord in the evening and the morning.
 And be patient, (O Muhammad), for the decision of your Lord, for indeed, you are in Our eyes. And exalt (Allaah) with praise of your Lord when you arise.
Subhan’Allaah, and these are just some of the verses in which it is said that we should exalt Allaah in our day to day lives. in sha Allaah, let us become one of those in which the Qur’an describes;
"Only those believe in Our verses who, when they are reminded by them, fall down in prostration and exalt (Allaah) with praise of their Lord, and they are not arrogant." 32:15
Indeed, we are created by Allaah to worship Him, He says;
"And I did not create the jinn and mankind except that they worship Me." 51:56
So worship Allaah, exalt Allaah, revere Allaah, for indeed no one is mostly deserving of your praises other than Him.
and we pray that Allaah descends upon us a Mercy of His in a form that we are able to recognize the One who had given us life and that we are able to exalt Him in pure sincerity and ask for His forgiveness every now and then. in sha Allaah.
